CG18 is a dense black ink with golden powder suspension. The black outlines gold on rice paper; the effect is more subtle on sized papers. Specifically made for Chinese art techniques, but suitable for all ink work, painting, drawing and calligraphy. Fade-resistant and water re-soluble. Chinese inks produce slightly cooler tones than Japanese inks. Convenient lid design with an easy pour cap allows for more control and fewer spills. Bottle contains 180 ml (approximately 6.1 oz) ink, and comes boxed. Usage tips: For best use, shake well and vigorously before pouring the ink out of the bottle. You should hear the mixing balls shaking inside of the bottle; these disperse the metallic pigment throughout the ink.
